1. Operator and scope

This policy applies to the handling of personal and usage information on this website (yamada-ryosuke.com), operated by Ryosuke Yamada (the “Operator”). Questions or complaints about this policy or the handling of personal information can be sent through the consultation box on the tutoring page. The Operator’s address will be provided without delay on request.

2. Information processed

• IP address, access time, device and browser information processed in hosting logs for secure operation
• Page views, referrer and device category processed by Vercel Web Analytics to improve the site
• The e-mail address and message you enter in the consultation box on the tutoring page

3. Purposes

• Preventing misuse and maintaining the security and operation of the site
• Understanding usage in a form that does not directly identify visitors and improving the site
• Replying to messages sent through the consultation box and corresponding with you about them
• Meeting legal obligations and resolving disputes

4. Service providers

Vercel (a United States company) is used for hosting, analytics and processing consultation-box submissions, and Resend (a United States company) is used to deliver consultation-box messages to the Operator by e-mail. Both may process necessary information outside Japan, including in the United States, under their own terms and privacy policies. Information about the personal-data protection system of the United States and the measures these providers take to protect personal information is available on request.

5. Disclosure to third parties

Personal information is not sold. It is not disclosed without your consent except where required by law, necessary to protect life, safety or property, or entrusted to the providers above to the extent needed for the stated purposes.

6. Retention and security

Information is kept only for as long as needed to achieve the purposes above and as required by law, then deleted by reasonable means. Consultation-box messages are not stored on this website’s servers; they are kept as e-mail received by the Operator. Resend may retain delivery records for a period under its own policies. Reasonable safeguards are used against unauthorised access, loss, alteration and leakage.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This site embeds YouTube videos. When the video section becomes visible, muted autoplay starts and the player connects to YouTube (Google), even before you press play. Google may process your IP address and playback information under its own policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

This site does not independently set advertising cookies. Providers may use technologies needed for delivery and security. You can restrict these technologies in your browser, although some functions may be affected.

8. Your requests

To request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of information you sent through the consultation box, enter the same e-mail address in the consultation box and describe your request. The Operator will send a confirmation e-mail to that address and handle the request after confirming that it comes from you.

For access logs and usage data that the Operator cannot directly associate with an identifiable individual, we may be unable to identify your data or fulfil an individual request for access, correction, deletion or restriction.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when laws or services change. Material changes will be indicated on this page.
